1. Agreement

By accessing this website and making a booking enquiry with Sandton Private Safaris, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), Act 68 of 2008.

2. Services

Sandton Private Safaris provides private, bespoke safari day trips from Sandton, Johannesburg. Services include private Mahindra SUV transport, expert conservation guiding by Lee-Hazel Peacock, and a gourmet picnic lunch. Destinations include Dinokeng Game Reserve, Pilanesberg National Park, and Lion & Safari Park.

3. Bookings and Payment

  • All bookings are confirmed via WhatsApp or email with Lee-Hazel Peacock personally
  • A deposit may be required to secure your preferred date
  • Full payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking
  • Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR)

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the safari date: full refund
  • Cancellations made 3–7 days before: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before: no refund
  • Cancellations due to severe weather or safety concerns at our discretion: full refund or rescheduling

5. Consumer Protection Act Rights

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa, you have the right to:

  • Receive accurate and honest information about our services
  • Fair and responsible marketing
  • Quality service delivery
  • Lodge a complaint with the National Consumer Commission if necessary

6. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure your safety and enjoyment, Sandton Private Safaris and Lee-Hazel Peacock shall not be liable for:

  • Acts of nature, wildlife behaviour, or circumstances beyond our control
  • Personal injury or property damage not caused by our negligence
  • Changes to park access or wildlife viewing due to reserve management decisions

7. Health and Safety

All guests must follow safety briefings provided by Lee-Hazel Peacock. Guests with medical conditions should inform us at the time of booking. Children are welcome on all our safaris.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
